Webervations signon page access problems

If you are having trouble accessing the Webervations signon page (https://updates.webervations.com/magic-scripts/input/avsignon.asp), please try temporarily using this login link instead:  https://64.244.121.82/magic-scripts/input/avsignon.asp.

You may get a browser security warning.  If you are using Internet Explorer, click "Continue to this website", and if you are using Firefox, click "Add exception" and then "OK" in the dialog that opens.  This occurs because the security certificate is tied to updates.webervations.com, not to 64.244.121.82.  Your data will still be secure, it is just the browser warning you about a potential problem.

This particular issue is related to DNS (domain name server) updates, which unfortunately we don't have a lot of control over. Whenever you move systems like we have, the physical address (IP Address) can change, and so the backend systems that handle the translation of domain names (e.g. www.webervations.com) to physical locations (e.g. our servers which moved from Ohio to Austin TX) have to update themselves to get the new physical location. We did send out DNS updates with the new physical location prior to today in order to minimize this problem, but not all the servers on the internet have these updates yet, and so you may just have to wait for those updates to apply. Unfortunately, we don't have control over how often these servers update -- your internet provider and the various internet providers that they work with do. For today, using the alternate URL above allows you to bypass this translation and go directly to the new physical location. I would expect to see any issues like this fix themselves today or tonight.

We have a reservation for this weekend we are trying to process and cannot access credit card info because of your systems problems.

Our association availability isn't displaying correctly. When I check my availability (5 Ojo Inn B&B) via my availability page and within Webervations itself it appears correct. When I display our association page (www.webervations.com/.../alliance.asp), it isn't showing correctly. I was specifically looking at the Feb 13-18 date range.

I am not receiving any email (to riverrockinn) which says that I have a webervation. However, I see the reservation on my webervations home page.

Please help!

Hi,
I represent the Bed and Breakfast Association of SEattle.  Website www.lodginginseattle.com.  The availability on this site is now different from what member Inns have as availability on their personal site.  So the info is not rolling over to the association site correctly.

Greenlake Guest House and Shafer-Baillee Mansion have innacuracies.  Shafer-Baillee is NOT full on Jan 19, 24, and 25 and shows not full on their personal website but the association page shows them full.  
This weekend has Greenlake Guest House and Shafer Bailee showing full on Fri and Sat and they are open.

When might this be corrected?

Add another one to the List.  Association availability for Chambered Nautilus Bed and Breakfast, www.chamberednautilus.com  is also not correct on association website, www.lodginginseattle.com.   Shows us full on 1/24 and we are not.

Keep us informed as to how fixing this is going.

Can't upload from GuestAll- did you change the IP address?  I have 216.15.154.38.  Sure will be glad when this stuff is returned to the way it was working before.  Where the heck is David Swain?!?

Changed the IP to ftp.webervations.com - no luck there, either.  Fun fun fun.

Also tried 64.244.121.82.  This baby is BROKEN.  Did Swain leave you a timebomb?  Amazing how broken such an apparently robust system has become.  Anybody with an alternative, pls send email to innkeeper@timberwolfcreek.com thanks

Whilst i appreciate that you are having a few problems and are doing your best to fix them - how long before everything is back to normal?
None of the images are appearing for each of the rooms/units and all the rates and discounts have altered.
Also i have had 2 sets of guests unable to use the system and went elsewhere.
Not sure at the moment how much else has changed . . .

@ Timberwolf Creek - ftp.webervations.com should work, the 216.15.154.38. IP will NOT work any more, this is for the old Ohio servers. We received the following instructions on how to change this setting from the GuestALL folks so it should be correct: www.rezovation.com/webervations_transition.html If that is not working for you, I would recommend that you contact GuestALL for further assistance.

@ Timberwolf Creek -- also note that the ftp.webervations.com IP address is 64.244.121.87, you could try that as well and see if it works instead of the ftp address. The IP listed at the top of this article is for the updates.webervations.com site (64.244.121.82 - used for signing in to the system), this IP will *not* work for uploads from GuestALL.
